	My grandson is the breath of lambs 
	When he coos my innards turn to jelly.
	My daughter worries 
	that his skull moves 
	when he cries . 
	I see every movement 
	as a prophecy.  
	His little brain
	is growing there 
	as he prepares 
	to capture multitudes. 
	His wit will wither codgers. 
	His gentleness will cheer
	the moods of people 
	everywhere. 
	Or if not there 
	forever here.
